| 55 Range Electric Motors |
|
The 55 frame motors offer features which cannot be offered, or are at least only available with difficulty in other sizes. Greater output performances than are available with 48 frame motors, and greater capabilities as mechanically rated motors are obvious advantages. So also are the advantages of lower motor weight. 55 range motors have powder coated steel body shells and cast aluminium end shields, compared with larger, more bulky 60 frame motors.

| Sychronous
Valve Motors |
|
A
central heating boiler has two functions, one is to
provide hot water to the taps and the other is to heat
the radiators.
The "diverter valve" powered by our motor
HMG-5-6 will, depending upon its type and design,
provide hot water either to the domestic taps, the
radiators, or both at once. The room thermostat and
the hot water thermostat control the priority of
water flow through the valve.
Our geared synchronous motor HMG-5-6 is designed to operate in the “off”,
closed position, or when energised, in the stalled and open position.

| New Range of Backward Curved Fans |
| Remco's backward curved centrifugal fan units are motor driven by efficient, quiet and compact external rotor motors equipped with ball bearings.
Backward curved fan wheels incorporate a small number of long blades,
designed to sweep air outwards, as opposed to forward curved impellers,
which feature large numbers of shallow blades, which cup the air and project it forward. Backward curved fans are frequently run without the need for a scroll around the fan, and create a high pressure area around the wheel, which
even in a rectangular enclosure permits the exhaust air to be released in any
direction desired. |

| New Range of Guard Mounted Axial Fans |
Remco
are happy to announce the introduction of two new exciting
product lines and a major addition to an existing range.
Many of you will already know of our new wide
range of axial fan units. These are all driven by quiet and efficient
external rotor motors with ball bearings and incorporate either
deep basket, or flat grilles.
Covering
nine different fan diameters from 250mm to 630mm, the fans
are available for single or three phase operation, at 4 and
6 pole speeds and with either 'sucking' or 'blowing' air
flow. (The largest, 630 mm fan, is also available at 8 pole
speed and the 250 mm fan alone is offered at 2 pole speed.)
Requiring only four bolts for mounting and having slim profiles,
fans of this style are fast becoming the standard choice in many
Heating, Ventilating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning applications.
The Remco range offers competitively priced stock replacements
for fans in many popular items of original equipment and also
offers an ideal source for smaller manufacturers who may not
wish to purchase in large quantities. |

New Catalogue & Price List available
- Replacement Motors & Fans |
The catalogue
gives details of several hundred different models of replacement
electric motors together with information on a wide range
of centrifugal fan wheels and axial fan blades.
The selection
of a suitable replacement fhp motor can sometimes be a daunting
task given the wide variety of physical and performance characteristics
encountered and not least because many of the models look
so similar.
We have
over the past twenty years, tested and catalogued the performance
and physical characteristics of thousands of motor models
manufactured in the U. K., Italy, Spain, France, Germany,
U.S.A., Canada and Taiwan. All this information is held on
a relational database, cross-referenced to our replacements. |
