The test laboratory at Remco Products Ltd houses the latest computer controlled Power Analyser system from Magtrol. This Dynamometer based system outputs every motor parameter, Torque, Speed, Input Watts, Output Watts, Line current, Main winding current, Auxiliary winding current, Power factor and Efficiency from No load, through Full load and down to Locked rotor. The information can be presented as a series of curves or in tabular form, see specimen test results below. |

| Remco’s motor range spans from the 2 watts output of our smallest 24 Range Skeletal shaded pole motor up to the 1000 -1400 Watt output of our 60 Range PSC and Three Phase motors. By utilising one of five different sizes of Magnetic Brakes available, accurate test data can be achieved across this wide output range. |

Application testing of motors in Fan Coil and Centrifugal Blower applications is also carried out to ensure that our replacement motors give similar run speeds and temperature rises to those of the original O.E.M. motors. Instrumentation which displays real time motor winding temperature rise, Fan speed and the measurement of Air Flow is used during these tests. |

In addition to our single and three phase test facilities, DC power supplies are available for testing our current models of DC Compact Axial fans and work is progressing on new Brushless DC Motor and Fan models with Integral Electronic Speed control. |
